About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Tech & Data to join our B2C division in Hamburg (Germany), directly reporting to the CTO. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for driving our B2C data & software engineering strategy and delivery across six development teams and one data team, ensuring technical excellence and innovation in our consumer-facing products.

Your Job:
- Lead and mentor a structure of 7 tech & data teams through their respective team leads (or directly), fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- As a member of the B2C business unit leadership circle, collaborate closely with product, business, and technology stakeholders to shape and execute our technical vision and strategy
- Drive architectural decisions and technical direction for our B2C platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our solutions
- Establish and optimize development processes, quality standards, and engineering practices across teams in alignment with our Central Data and Software Engineering Platform Teams and their respective Head ofs
- Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting processes, aligned with business objectives and growth targets
Your Skills:
- Extensive experience in software/data engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing multiple development teams
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern software development practices and architecture
- Experience in scaling engineering organizations and implementing effective processes
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels
- Track record of successful collaboration with product, business, and technology stakeholders
- Fluent in English? Perfect! German language skills are a plus
